Brittle Nails

If your nails are brittle from too many manicures and you want something natural to make them stronger, lemon is your new best friend. Mix a couple drops of fresh lemon juice and olive oil together and soak your nails for a few minutes. If you don’t like the smell of olive oil, use coconut oil instead. You should do this once a week to see the difference. You will also notice that your nails will look spotless.

Dry Hair

You can make your own mask using lemon as the main ingredient. Coconut oil has properties that help straightening the hair because it restores the protein levels of hair follicles. To make this mask all you need are two tablespoons of coconut oil and the freshly squeezed juice of half a lemon. Mix the two ingredients together and apply on your hair. Leave it on for ten minutes and rinse with warm water.

Dry Skin

Facials work best when the pores are open. You should prepare the skin before applying this mask to open those pores to let all the lemony goodness do its magic. You can invest in a face steamer or stand carefully above a pot with hot water to let the steam open your pores. In a bowl, mix one tablespoon of raw honey and the juice of half a lemon. Apply the mixture on your face and let it sit for thirty minutes. Rinse with warm water and go show off your clear skin.
