Cinnamon heals open wounds created by the bacteria causing acne. This happens by absorbing the excess of oil from the pores. You have to be careful handling cinnamon because its a spice and it could burn your face. You should start mixing a little bit of it and if you feel any kind of burning on your face you should wash it with cool water right away.
Never put the spice directly onto your face and always mix it with moisturizing ingredients such as coconut oil, honey and oatmeal. The ratio should be half of a teaspoon of cinnamon, per one tablespoon of any of the ingredients mentioned above. Mix the two ingredients together and apply it on your nose and/or forehead doing circular moves.
To see better results, exfoliate with this mask at least twice a week. Alternate the ingredients and have fun with it. You’ll love the way your skin feels and looks after you wash your face.
